Lake Wörthersee, situated west of Klagenfurt, is Carinthia's largest lake and one of the warmest alpine lakes. Thanks to its wind-sheltered location, the average water temperature from July to September is about 25 °C and sometimes even warmer. Thus Lake Wörthersee is the ideal place to spend your summer holidays! The annual Carinthia Lake Report has been certifying the high quality of Carinthian lakes for years.
