Sleeping late – no chance! There is just too much to explore in Vienna.
First of all, go to the Naschmarkt. That’s where you’ll find culinary delights from all over the world and more: there’s also a flea market, which always poses adventure for all children. After extensive romping, the Museum of Natural History is next on the itinerary, whose treasures are even older than the building itself.
The famous and priceless exhibits, such as the 25,000 year old Venus von Willendorf or giant dinosaur skeletons, are the highlights of the tour.
After this unique spectacle, the children are able to enjoy another, if rather different, spectacle: The KasperlTheater in the Vienna Urania, which, in the meantime, has entertained and enthused generations of fans.
Next in line to be marvelled at are the animals in the Schönbrunn Zoo. In the Petting Zoo, children are able to hold and touch the animals – and of course the main attractions are the baby animals.
Learning can be fun, and a trip to the Technical Museum is the best possible way to test your knowledge, and you can test physical phenomena with your own experiments too.
In the evening, close the eventful day with a ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel and walk through the famous Vienna Prater.
And if you dare, you can ride the roller coaster as well. After so much excitement, you won’t even need to tell your kids a goodnight story to get them to sleep, and parents will also mercifully be allowed to fall straight into bed.
