Spend a leisurely afternoon amongst the Viennese having a drink at the Summerstage located right on the water on the Donaukanal and get warmed up for the evening. In summer, there are plenty of outdoor bars and cafés directly on the water. An absolute highlight is Strandbar Herrmann, right next to the Vienna Urania at Schwedenplatz. Its sandy beach atmosphere combined with the latest party trends makes it a popular place to hang out. You can also dance till dawn in the bars in the legendary Bermuda Triangle located directly at Schwedenplatz. And when you’ve had enough, it’s just a short walk back to the hotel.
