Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in Salzburg.

The Mozartkugel - the Mozart Ball is a small, round confection made of marzipan, nougat and dark chocolate. Originally hand made as the “Mozartbonbon”,  created by a very popular confectioner from Salzburg, Paul Fürst in 1890 as homage to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Similar products have been made by other manufacturers, with a touch of variety in their recipes. Some are hand-made and others are industrially produced. Each and every one of them is delicious. You will have to try them all in order to find your favourite.

It’s a sweet job, but defenitely worth doing it!
