Our hotel in Salzburg offers the best starting point for exploring the city of Mozart.

W. A. Mozart's Birthplace

Who wants to follow the footsteps of "Wolferl", has to come here. Mozart spent his childhood on the 3rd floor of the "Hagenauer house". It is a must-see for every real Mozart fan. Currently it is a museum, exhibiting musical instruments, original furniture and personal possession of the musical genius.

Stone Alley – "Steingasse"

Through the ancient stone gate you can get an idea of Salzburg in medieval times. The Steingasse, over centuries the most important transportation route for the "white gold from the mountains", is special through its historical flair. Take a look at house Nr. 9 – the birthplace of Joseph More, poet of the world famous Christmas song "Silent Night, Holy Night".

Hiking and climbing in the middle of the city: Kapuzinerberg

The Linzer alley is the door to the mountain within the city – the Kapuzinerberg. The hike is not too exhausting, but the reward is a fantastic view over the ancient city of Salzburg, the "Mönchberg" (Monk mountain) and the Hohensalzburg Fortress! If that was not enough for you, the walk continues to the "Franziski-Schlössel", a small fortress with drawbridge, where the beer garden invites you for relaxation and traditional Salzburger cuisine is served.

Good news for sporty travellers – the fixed rope route „City-Wall“ at the Kapuzinerberg has been reopened. And the best part: it‘s entry point is directly in the Glockengasse, close to the AllYouNeed Hotel Salzburg***. Besides a 130 m long rather difficult level-E-route there is now also a second easier route that ranges from levels A to C. An alpine-style via ferrata in the middle of the city – that’s what we call unique!

Stroll along the "Getreidegasse"

Eine Galerie mit Trachten in den Schaufenstern und zwei Frauen mit Einkaufstaschen

A Must-Do/See for every Salzburg trip: idyllic arcade courts and artfully baroque ornaments are the perfect place for beautiful pictures. If you have not found the perfect souvenir yet – here you will – antiques, handcraft, traditional costumes – the Austrian "Tracht", the traditional costume, and much more is offered here.
